Overview
Kat Boyd is a Fertility Naturopath, Nutritional Therapist, and Fertility Coach based in the UK. Her practice, Birds & Bees Natural Fertility, has been featured in Time & Leisure, What Doctors Don't Tell You, The Green Parent, Natural Cycles, and Proceive. She works with couples through a 120-day preconception programme and has independently verified results published in the Journal of Nutritional & Environmental Medicine. We built a conversion-first personal brand site anchored entirely in trust.
The Problem
Fertility coaching is a crowded, emotionally sensitive market — couples are desperate and sceptical in equal measure. Kat's results were exceptional (verified by the University of Surrey), but her old site read like a typical wellness blog. Media features weren't surfaced. The independently verified stats were buried in an About page footnote. The booking flow required 5 clicks to reach a consultation form.
The Solution
A site designed around Kat's single greatest asset: independently verified, published results. The success-rate statistics (7%, 5%, 0×) lead the hero alongside her credentials. Media logos (Time & Leisure, What Doctors Don't Tell You, Natural Cycles) appear above the fold as a trust strip. Happy parent testimonials from Sharon, Rebecca, and Elodie carry full names and ages — no anonymous reviews.
Warm, clinical-adjacent palette (cream tones, teal accents) that feels safe and hopeful rather than medical-cold. The "Book Your Free Strategy Session" CTA appears three times at natural decision points. A "Work With Me" section pairs Kat's photo with the verified stats so the personal connection and the evidence land together.
WordPress with Elementor Pro. Acuity Scheduling embedded for free strategy session booking. Media logo strip uses a static grid (not marquee) to feel editorial rather than promotional.
Our Process
Research
Interviewed 4 past clients about what convinced them to book. Three cited the independently verified stats; two cited the media features. Both moved to the top of the page.
Design
Warm cream/teal direction won over two clinical alternatives — felt safe and hopeful to the couples who reviewed options, which is the exact emotional state that drives booking.
Development
Four-week build. Acuity Scheduling iframe embed tuned to match the site's colour system. Elementor Pro for all page layouts.
Testing
Booking flow tested by Kat and two of her existing clients before launch. Both completed the flow in under 3 minutes.

Conclusion
Moving the independently verified statistics and media features above the fold transformed the site from a blog into a conversion engine. Kat's free strategy sessions filled up within the first week of launch — she now maintains a waitlist for her preconception programme.
